The Association of Investment and Human Donation (AIIDH) is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Tlemcen, Algeria. Founded in 2016 and officially approved in 2017, AIIDH focuses on fostering socio-educational development and promoting active citizenship. Since its inception, AIIDH has grown into a recognized entity known for its commitment to community empowerment through education, capacity building, and active participation. EcoStep Tlemcen-FR

EcoStep Tlemcen is a multidimensional project focused on the preservation and regeneration of alfa, a plant vital to the ecosystem of Algeria’s steppes. Supported by UNDP Algeria, the project revolves around three main pillars:

Expertise Work: Conducting comprehensive studies on the current state of alfa and its ecosystem in target regions, including socio-economic and ecological analyses.
Awareness and Capacity Building: Training local stakeholders, running awareness campaigns to promote alfa protection, and conducting practical workshops to encourage lasting behavioral change.
Alfa Regeneration: Implementing concrete actions such as seed collection and planting, creating nurseries, and establishing protected zones to ensure the natural regeneration of this valuable species.

This ambitious project relies on active collaboration between experts, local communities, and various partners, all united by the goal of safeguarding natural resources and fostering a sustainable future for Algeria’s steppes.
